texte = Yes, I understand how to do this on a one time basis. I should be more clear. My inclinationis to have this set up as an automatic process. This foreign (progress) database willcreate a tab deliminated text file (lets say) every evening, then I would liketo set up a process (trigger???) that would retrieve and commit to database thenew info then flush the cache . My question is:would the fieldnames in both the webcatalog databaseand the field names in the (incoming) tab deliminated text file have to match orcould I create some mapping code that would match a particular field to a fieldin the WebCat db???forgive the lack of specific tag reference as I am just learning WebDNA.Thanks in advance. - DClayton Randall wrote:> If it is a tab delimeted file, you don't need to import it at all,> just use the names as you already have them, then copy and paste the> new lines at the end of your .db file.
