WebCat 4 crashes WebStar / Shownext Links

texte = More info on my ShowNext links. What are the ramifications of redundant variables in a url? I had to add startat=[startat] in one of my search strings, so in the shownext links on that page, I get two startAt pairs, because the [searchstring] puts one in. I also discovered another redundancy on the Shownext URL on one of my message board templates resulting in db=msg.db&db=[db], due to me being a beginner when I made these pages three years ago. (There is no db variable coming into that page, so the URL shows the raw db=[db] in addition to the correct db=msg.db put in by the [searchstring] tag.) I just fixed this, of course. Is WebCat3/4 less forgiving of goofs like this? I have taken down my message board area to see if these are the source of my woes. This morning a new user had been going through the message area, and I've had some system freezes, as opposed to only the WebStar Type 2 quits I have been getting since upgrading.Insights and pitfalls about the Shownext process would be appreciated. (I do not want to use forms/submit buttons for these, but URLs instead.)Thanks.-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
