texte = I posted this problem here several days ago, but I have enough differentinformation that I wanted to start over. This is a little bit off topicnow, but I would really appreciate it if anyone who has seen thisproblem before could comment.I am having trouble connecting Webcatalog to Filemaker via ODBC on aMacintosh. This means that Webcatalog is running on a Mac, and that isa pivotal point of my problem. I can get it to work perfectly wellunder NT and Linux, but I need a Mac specific solution (to avoid buyinganother copy of webcatalog).I am running this script:[sql dsn=testdsn&statement=SELECT name FROM test][founditems][name][/founditems][/sql]And getting this error in response:SQL Error: S1106[FileMaker][ODBC FileMaker Pro driver]In SQLExtendedFetch, onlySQL_FETCH_NEXT is supported for SQL_SCROLL_FORWARD_ONLY cursors. I know for a fact that there is nothing wrong with the SQL query or theFilemaker database setup, because an NT machine running this same scriptand connecting to the same database works. This suggests twopossibilities for where the problem is: the ODBC driver, or the drivermanager. I am using the ODBC 3.11 Filemaker Pro PPC driver and the ODBCdriver manager that ship with the Mac version of Filemaker Developer 5. I have gone through the documentation for them thouroughly, and I do notbelieve I have done anything wrong in terms of setup. I have also triedthe OpenLink drivers, with the same results. Has anyone seen thisbefore, or can anyone suggest different drivers/manager that might work?Again, I apologize for the off topic question, but I'm a little lostwhen it comes to Mac software. Thanks in advance.Marc Frechet-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
