This is very helpful for static pages where the contents are not based on an explicit search. The MIMEHeader.inc file even works with AOL's stupid cache. There is no easy way to have part of the page cached and another part be retrieved fresh each time. Of course, you could put page in frames and your top and bottom banner could be flagged as cachable and your content, not.The MIMEHeader.inc grew out of frustration both with pages caching when I didn't want them to AND pages not caching when they should.John-- John Peacock Director of Information Research and Technology Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Group 4720 Boston Way Lanham, MD 20706 301-459-3366 x.5010 fax 301-429-5747------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
