It is [date %z] that gets the time zone of the server ... so this is the first thing that needs to be fixed. And unfortunately, the way it displays the resulting value is not consistent across platforms. For example, on my MacOS9 server it gives me +0800 but on an NT server it gives me Pacific Daylight Time. How am I supposed to use those two values in my webdna code to get the time difference between those two servers?Does anyone have a webdna suggestion for getting the time zone of the server as the number of hours from GMT -- on all platforms?
