texte = The Intranet Edition is based upon the 4.5 code base, but includes a roll up of all 4.5 fixes made to date, including the following: All platforms: - New 'Safe-Write' preference - Enabled by default. When enabled, the WebDNA engine creates a temporary file when writing the contents of a database to disk. The temporary file contents are then moved to the original database file after the entire database is completely flushed to disk. This helps to eliminate corruption of the original database file if there is an interruption during the database write process. Windows: - Fix for email date/time header 'off by one hour' bug. - Improved email logging - Fix for extra linefeeds in the email body when using [sendmail]UNIX: - New 'File mode' preferences for secure and insecure file output. Overrides the file permissions that the WebDNA engine will use when creating new files, i,e, [CreateFile secure=F/T].For those customers currently running the Developer or Commerce editions of 4.5 released in June, a downloadable update containing these fixes is currently being tested and will be available very soon.Sincerely,Phil Bonesteele Director ebusiness products & services-----Original Message----- From: Kenneth Grome [mailto:kengrome@webdna.net] Sent: Wednesday, October 16, 2002 12:27 AM To: WebDNA-Talk@talk.smithmicro.com Subject: Re: WebDNA Intranet Edition release>The Intranet Edition includes all the features and >functionality of the Commerce Edition ..... including the date/time bug, and other bugs ...
