A cool slideshow, slightly OT

The end result is pretty cool, and I'd be happy to share code with anyone who's interested. The site is yet unfinished, but the slideshow is working. Here it is:http://previews.vsm.net/jdr2002/But... (ah, knew that was coming, didn't ya?) I have a question. You'll notice that the name of the band (pulled from the db) shows up in the submit button. In the JS Array, I establish one variable for the SKU and another for the band name as I loop through the [founditems]. This way, I can send the Submit button a value of Click for +[ bandname] and send the SKU in a hidden field, so that when the submit button is pushed, it goes to the proper band's page. But what if I just wanted to display the band name as normal HTML text, rather than in the form? I'm only used to using the document.form.formvariable.value = x language, which requires me to have some type of form in which to send my variable. Do any of you know how I could just display the band photo, and then, like
[bandname] as part of the JavaScript Array? I'm assuming I need something related to the document.write command, but I'm not sure.Let me know about browser incompatibility with the slideshow, too. I'm pretty sure it doesn't work in Netscape 6 on Mac (big surprise), but otherwise seems to test fine for me.Thanks, -- Patrick Junkroski http://www.vsm.netP.S.
