We have a site where clients can express their interest in a certain product which is then sent to them free. Naturally the client only wants each person to be able to do this once.Is the only way of avoiding this to search the db through each field before the current form is appended to the database? If you had to compare multiple fields, wouldn't that take a while, especially if the number of records gets to be a lot. Would it be quicker to search in one field, and if a match is found, it then compared the other fields?Any two-cent's worth on this would be apprecaited.Regards, Tim ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
