texte = I'm about to code some [shownext] into a project and a question came to mind.I have a site where a search is done by a category. The list of items found per category may exceed 100 so we're thinking of breaking the results found into smaller chunks to view perhaps in groups of 25 or 50. . . .The original search within categories will always be returned in a random order for each visitor, with the [shownext] applied to those results . . .There is heavy traffic expected on this site.My question is this:If I have 10, 15, 20 people doing searches within these categories, all within say a few minutes of each other, and then these same people are poking around their search results, going back and forth by way of shownext, am I looking at some cpu or memory or database issues to be concerned about??Since each of these visitors have their own unique results, and I expect them to be going and forth within their own unique results . . . how is webdna handling this task?Is it performing new searches each time within the shownexts when it needs to?Is it storing each persons search results in memory?Am I better off not using the shownexts with these results . . .Am I explaining my question clearly???thanks.lester-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
