texte = Yes, these are doorway pages.Look, the *only* sane way to run these things is via an affiliate tracking system whereby affiliate or SE click-throughs are tracked from the moment they get to your site till they order or sign-up or leave. Period. If you do anything less than this, you may as well open your cheque book to all-comers. With this system in place, it's up to your S&M team to negotiate deals based on clicks or leads or orders or whatever it is that keeps you in business. You could use cookies to track this activity, but savvy affiliates won't accept this. PHP has a simple and incredibly useful Session function which carries a unique ID with the URLs as the user clicks around, but, AFAIK, the only method available with WebDNA is via the cart. Perhaps one of the gurus can correct me here. Or maybe this is in 5.0?Anyhow, forget about all these slick guys with their fancy talk. Track and log. That's the only way.----------------------------------On Tuesday, 25 March 2003 7:58 AM, Donovan wrote: >Hello, >against the advisement of myself our marketing director >has chosen to hire a $40/ month search engine optimizer. >($495.00 setup fee) :-( > >So, now, I get to see what this thing is all about. >Has anyone used Internet Advancement? > >As just a part of there package they say they create 5 >Directory Information Pages (D.I.P.'s). >The description they have for these is this: >They each have unique, optimized content pertaining >to our clients's submitted web page, assigning each >of them a unique URL and domain, to multiply our >submission efforts for them > >Can someone decipher this? :-) > >Sounds like door way pages???
