I can tell you that the big switch hasn't come for most of us in this industry. Even our clients still send us art created in OS9. QuarkXpress has yet to make a 10 version. Steve may be pushing X, but the user base is slower in switching than than they would like to admit. Our OS9 server still makes us a solid bit of business daily.I can definately understand the push on the developers side. It takes resources to support products, and when there are two OS's being supported, it takes that much more resources. I will have to side with Ken on this. It would be nice to have continued support for 9. It seems on the outside, a simple fix to take out the XML stuff for a 9 version... but since I don't know didly about that stuff, It is only conjecture. SM?However, I do use both pretty much equally, and will someday make the switch on our server at my day job.One of the problems with 9 is that Java (secure) is not being updated. With some of the gateways going to a Java link, this rules out 9 as a player. I imagine things like this will start cropping up more and more but I don't think it is dead yet. ;-) IMHO, Donovan-- -Donovan Brooke -Administrator of IT / -Assc.
