Problem with formatting dates stored in db

texte = I've been going through the talk archives trying to find some help on formatting dates that are stored in a database and haven't had much luck. I'm trying to format dates stored in the datebase like this 08/19/2003 and want that date displayed as Tue 08/19. Below are the current Prefernce Settings in the WebDNA Admin and the code in question. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. WebDNA - Commerce Edition is running as unix-Cobalt Intel Unix Apache Module version 4.5.1 Current WebDNA Preferences: Date Display Format: %m/%d/%Y Read Date Format: Month/Day/year (American) Math to use Date Display Format?: No Code: [format days_to_date %a %m/%d][gamedate][/format] The [gamedate] variable is stored in the datebase as 08/19/2003 Output: Sun 01/08 Any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
