They were using a barcode reader input device which after the update caused the problem to occur 100% of the time as compared to about 0.25%.After trying for over one day to replicate the problem, I realised the scanner was causing some problem, stopped using the scanner the problem stopped. The scanner reads a barcode (cart number) from a hard copy of the customer's order and then enters a carriage return to submit the form. I think that there must be another character that is also submitted which stuffs things up. Probably the number, a linefeed and then a CR.I just can not for the life of me solve the problem of the occasional cart dumping all its data :(On Tuesday, September 23, 2003, at 10:41 AM, WJ Starck wrote:> Jesse->> Is it possible that 5.1 is generating a duplicate cart #, which is > then wiping out information?>> I have also had mysterious happenings since upgrading to 5, none of > which I can duplicate either.
