Well, we do have the ability to hook into SQL backends... I thought also that SMSI increased the speed at some point.? I agree that this part in particular needs to be nailed down if it is not performing well. (haven't done any extensive integration myself) However, SMSI has different products for different needs. I guess I was talking about the commerce edition. If you are going to label it a "commerce edition" it very well better have up-to-date usefull commerce tools/features. This is an area I think WebDNA accells in. Question is, how long until someone builds something like in PHP? This is why SMSI needs to keep it a level above.
