texte = Very good advice ... I do my share of 'wardriving' (public 'free' hot-spots only) and it is absolutely frightening to see the number of unsecured networks. At least with the SSID off your WAP is transparent to most scanning. People seem to plug their wireless routers in and when they get them working they never touch them again. Default passwords are still left in to administer their routers as if they have never been touched, don't ask me how I know this.
