texte = Hi I am doing something very similar at the moment and what I've found is that the =BF is what WebDNA turns the line return into. It is called a vertical ta= b or soft return. WebDNA attempts to turn it back in to whatever it was when you extract from a DB or write to file. To get round it with the particular task I had, I used a grep looking for %0B and changed it whatever I needed. Working so far.
