texte = I'm sorry. In my example I didn't [url] them but I do have them urled in = the search. I'm not all that sure I communicated my problem well enough. I have a database of strings, integers, and dates. I want the user to be = able to search through all of this by typing in whatever word, number, or = special character they want into a textbox and pressing a search button. = Basically a typical search here. If the user types in "56" then it finds "56" wherever it can and displays = that record. My problem is that when the initial [search] is done on the keyword(s) the = end_datetype=3Ddate is jacking everything up because end_date in the = database, isn't always a date. Sometimes it's zero to represent that it = has no end date. And since they all aren't a date (xx/xx/xxxx) it = completely messes up the search and returns all records in the database by = default no matter what the user typed into the keyword textbox. Literally = the user could type "lkasflkjasf" and it will return every record in the = database.
