texte = Hi all, I recently purchased the upgrade to WebDNA v 6 (unlimited domain, commerce edition) and upgraded my dual 2 ghz power mac g5 last night. Since then, the web server process has stopped responding 6 times. The machine is running 10.2.7 g5 4 gb of ram Web server is WebStar 5.2.3 The machine itself does not crash, and process viewer continues to show both the the webcatalog and the wswebserver processes running (though no change in memory or processor usage) Forcing the wswebserver process to quit (and it's subsequent restart) returns everything to normal for a little while. There is no crash written to the console, or any of the crash reporters, and thus far, the pages loaded in the run up to a "crash" do not demonstrate any pattern. There is nothing written in the signal catcher either. I recognize that the solution involves another product, but given that server was running flawlessly for months prior to the WebDNA upgrade, it seems reasonable to assume that WebDNA is involved/responsible for this. We have now rolled back to version 4.5 and the stability of the machine has completely returned.
