I am still playing around with it - it looks like everything works to except read/write acces. So I am looking into that. But i don't know alot about user-rights etc. Kind Regards Morten -----Original Message----- From: Sal [mailto:saldanna@yahoo.com] Sent: 26. marts 2004 22:15 To: WebDNA Talk Subject: Re: Include file not working on remote directory. Hi Morten, This could be your problem. This drove me crazy a while back until I read the change history. Your problem sounds like a path issue since the WebDNA processes on the page for your [listfiles] so it is a path issue. Win: changed meaning of "/" so that file paths beginning with "/" are stored relative to DBServer.exe rather than C:. This is because NT servers do not provide enough information to let us know the true virtual root. Hi List I have a question/problem. I can't get INCLUDE-file to work. We run Windows 2000 Server and IIS as the webserver. I am trying to run out site from another computer than the actual webserver. So the files to the site is located on another server in our LAN. I setup the webserver to access the files on the proper server/directory and I had hoped this would be enough. BUT it can't find any of the includefiles I have in my code. It excutes ok but when ever there is a INCLUDE in the code it cannot find the file. It returns this message: "Error: template '../../global/globalactions.inc' not found" when I run this: [include file=../../global/globalactions.inc] [listfiles path=../../global/] [filename]
[/listfiles] The wierd thing is that the LISTFILES-function works fine and lists the files in the directory including the globalactions.inc. So it can list the file - but cannot read it??? Furthermore the stylesheet and the javascript works fine too. So is it impossible to have your Webcatalog files placed on another computer than the actual webserver? Or am I doing something wrong. ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
