You are wasting huge amounts of CPU just on diskwrites, plus the way that the debug is structured (write just before serving the page), you are making your normally CPU bound process be disk I/O bound. If you need debugging for resolving a specific issue, turn it on for a while, then turn it back off as soon as you can.
