texte = As John mentioned, the behavior of WebDNA running on IIS, regarding the '/' root prefix, is different then with WebDNA running on other UNIX platforms. This does cause some inconvenience when migrating a web-site from UNIX to Windows. There is one possible work-around that may help: If you are running WebDNA version 5, or later, on a Windows platform. You can create a WebDNA Sandbox entry for your site, using the 'root' path of your website as the sandbox path. WebDNA templates running from inside of the sandbox path will treat the '/' prefix as relative to the sandbox path (and not the WebCatalogEngine folder). There are other benefits with the WebDNA sandbox feature. I recommend you create a WebDNA lab, and view the Sandbox tutorial. -----Original Message----- From: WebDNA Talk [mailto:WebDNA-Talk@talk.smithmicro.com]On Behalf Of Alex McCombie Sent: Friday, November 12, 2004 10:10 AM To: WebDNA Talk Subject: 2003 include path issue A client just installed the developer version on a 2003 server. Works like a charm and the install went very smoothly. So far, happy client. But file includes are not working from the root. So Include file=/includes/nav.inc Does not work yet from deep in a directory you can Include file=../../includes/nav.inc So I am assuming that it has to do with the install location. A fullpath on fileinfo results in: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\calendar\index.tpl when called from the url of: http://Thedomain.org/calendar/index.tpl I am betting is something simple and stupid but admittedly my win server knowledge doesn't exist (thankfully). Any thoughts?
