texte = Hi Hopefully someone on the list can help as I am really struggling at the moment. Basically my client has a recruitment system running on MS SQL in his office. Currently I have an old OS9 box with Filemaker/Lasso and WebStar running on it. The client machine makes an ODBC connection to Filemaker to post new job vacancies which I then get using Lasso. So far so good. I would like to get rid of this box, as it is the only OS9 thing left in my office, and replicate this system using MySQL and WebDNA. I should be ok on the WebDNA-MySQL stuff, I'm just unsure how to enable my server to receive the connection from the MSSQL client machine. My stuff is running OSX 10.3.8/iTools 7.3 with MySQL 4.0.18. Does MS SQL speak to MySQL directly or do I need ODBC or something else? If I need ODBC, any pointers to how to get it going would be very helpful. Thanks for any help. ======================================== Steve Craig - Asylum Interactive Ltd Tel +44 1224 642960 Fax +44 1224 642962 ======================================== http://www.asylumweb.com Email: steve@asylumweb.com ======================================== ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
