texte = WebDNA 6.0a Redhat Enterprise Hello, Trying to do something with encrypt, but need 'normal' charactors for the result as the result will be used for a filename that need sto be accessable via a webpage. When using, for example: [Encrypt seed=abcdefg]Some Text that is private[/Encrypt] Often results in text that has characters that can not be used as a filename. If I then wrap it in [url][/url] the result is normal characters, but the web browser will interpret them as the actual character (e.g. %3D ). Which makes it not usable for my purpose. It seems that the &method=base64 or &method=APOP do not use the seed value so that if you encrypt the same data, you get the same result. I am trying to encrypt the same data in different locations with unique seed values to result in a unique filename, but one that is easy to reverse out to its real name from within my code. I want to use the same basic code, but change the seed value based on where the file is to be saved. [text]enc_filename=[Encrypt seed=[mySeed]]standardFilename[/Encrypt][/text] This should result in the encrypted file name being different in each location as my seed value changes based on the location. Can any one confirm is &method=APOP and &method=base64 are supposed to use a seed value or not? And if not, any suggestions to accomplish what I Am trying to do?
