texte = Hi Tom, That's an interesting process. So you just send=20 an incoming variable of exportFile=3Dfilename. But=20 if the image is embedded into an html page, it=20 would ask for a password, no? I am currently using browser authentication (not=20 cookies) for this particular site, but just not=20 realm protection. I just use page protection via=20 the [protect] tag. So that part isn't the=20 problem. I do use cookies on my other sites=20 though. Terry Terry, My issue with realm based passwords is that if=20 you have used a cookie based system for login to=20 a secure area then the user is forced to re-enter=20 a realm username/password for file download. =A0I'm=20 sure you could engineer it so that it is the same=20 username/password for both - but the user is=20 still inconvenienced.
