RE: [WebDNA] Installing WebDNA on VPS
This WebDNA talk-list message is from 2008
It keeps the original formatting.
numero = 101025

texte = OK....For the Talk List archives.....I have successfully installed WebDNA 6.0 on a Windows 2003 VPS runningPlesk. I guess I'll be upgrading from 4.0:PI ran the install file and all went well but none of the domains Plesk setsup in the vhost folder would serve the .tpl files. I kept getting deniedaccess. To fix this I had to change the permissions within thescripts/WebCatalogEngine/$webCat.dll file. I had to remove the denypermissions under the psacln user.Does anyone know if that could potentially be a big mistake for securityreasons? Or is it ok?Mike-----Original Message-----From: Donovan Brooke [mailto:dbrooke@webdna.us] Sent: Monday, September 22, 2008 12:36 AMTo: talk@webdna.usSubject: Re: [WebDNA] Installing WebDNA on VPSMichael A.
