I use it in a several tools of mine that you've seen and used for things like custom parsing and substitutions on articles and pages (think cortex and dnabrain). Depending on what you're doing inside the loop, of course, it could take a while, but listwords will do it's job fine.Good debugging techniques like testing the code on small and medium sized samples before throwing the GastlyAmount at it are highly recommended. A thousand or two words is not all that huge for admin- type activities, but you wouldn't want to do that on high traffic pages if there's another way.Brian FriesBrainScan SoftwareOn May 26, 2009, at 2:11 PM, Donovan Brooke wrote:> Hello,>> I thought I'd pose this one to the list...>> I am looking at a solution that may involve dumping potentially a > thousand (or two) words into listwords, and I don't think I've done > this> before.>> Has anyone been down this road before?.. if so, care to> share your experience?>> It seems logical that any loop that iterates 1000 times could> potentially cause problems.. especially if there is any amount> of intensive code within that loop... but I guess I try not to put > limits where they haven't been defined as of yet.>>> Donovan>>>>> -- > Donovan Brooke> WebDNA Software Corporation> http://www.webdna.us> **[Square Bracket Utopia]**> ---------------------------------------------------------> This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to> the mailing list
