I have been fiddling with the second part, and you code works well in one way for sure, so far.. It gives the browser the option of saving the file or opening the SWF file with an app of choice.. Now if I could make it instead just auto-play in the browser window (the parent.html who [includes] the pass-protection code and also [includes] that code you just gave me), then I'd have my solution.
