[WebDNA] PHP and WebDNA together?

I've built an application around the amazon affiliate API and use a php script to generate the proper signature and encode it with hash hmac sha256. I fetch it with ajax and then bring it back into the dna doc to complete the function and parse the response xml. Of course, I could always send a dna form to a php page and redirect back to a dna page. However, just curious if anyone has been able to directly embed a php snippet inside a dna page or vice versa?
