I just spent a week building a custom cart system for a client, and his online store has never been faster or easier for me to deal with -- now that I have replaced his old, confusing order file system with cookies and databases and a flexible calculation system that is super-easy to understand and debug.Unfortunately I think that a new WebDNA book may never be written. But there is (or was) a PDF manual that I printed and gave to my 200+ WebDNA trainees in the Philippines almost a decade ago. I required them to study it because it laid a solid foundation for professional use of the WebDNA language, and it is probably still the best printable resource out there, assuming WSC still makes it available for download.Sincerely,Kenneth Grome> I forget if I am suposed to top-post or not, so I> apolozie if I am doing the wrong thing here.> > But I thought I'd chime in on the book part.> > I would loooove to get some more concrete examples and> walkthroughs of the webdna, most of the system I am> working with (yes it is only one system and might not be> very complex compared to what others are working with)> is something I inherited and its a nightmare to figure> out what is going on half the time.> > If there were more/better ressources avaiable (I've not> come across these videos that are about so I'd like a> link if possible) then perhaps it would be easier to get> into and understand what is going on.
