Here what i found after Donovan pointed this out: Deprecate is to mark (a c=omponent of a software standard) as obsolete to warn against its use in the= future so that it may be phased out.

The eCommerce tags are still active in 7.1 (not in 7.0) and in future versi=ons probably, for compatibility purpose, but we do not encourage anybody to= use them for new applications.
