texte = 1038I haven't tried this yet but I'm pretty sure WebDNA Server won'tinstall via its installer on Manjaro (an Arch Linux derivativethat I've chosen as my new desktop OS) so I'm looking for a listof dependencies and/or manual installation instructions that willsupport my efforts to get it working on Manjaro. If I succeed in this effort I'll share my step-by-stepinstallation procedures with everyone. Maybe I'll even create aLiveDVD ISO that anyone can use to test Manjaro (with WebDNApre-installed and working properly) from their DVD drives.---BTW, I just came across something else that WSC (and those of ushoping for ongoing MySQL support) might enjoy: MariaDB is adrop-in replacement for MySQL -- but unlike MySQL it is free andopen source and will always remain so:https://mariadb.org/about/https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MariaDBhttps://seravo.fi/2015/10-reasons-to-migrate-to-mariadb-if-still-using-mysqlTherefore it seems that if they choose to do so, WSC can bypassOracle's licensing requirements, and simply include MariaDBsupport in future versions of WebDNA instead. In other words, "Screw you Oracle, we have MariaDB now!":)Regards,Kenneth GromeWebDNA Solutionshttp://www.webdnasolutions.comWeb Database Systems and Linux Server Administration---------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed tothe mailing list
