After my previous question, I've managed t=o get a site migrated and mostly working. I have a couple of issues left, w=hith which I need some help, as WebDNA Server seems to work differently the=n I'm used to within an Apache environment.
Current stuation:
=- I've configured WebDNA correctly to handle .html files with the= right tags enabled
- I've configured Apache correctly, so the re=quests to <hostname> end up at the right dir and are logged in a si=te specific logfile
- The site at ">http://<ip> gives =the correct layout
However, the points below don't work:
- Via url hostname>">http://>hostname> webdna claims ="WebDNA is not configured to accept requests to host=34;
- Via ">http://<ip> WebDNA fails to access t=he db and create a mail foilder. (/db/ and <mailfolder> are absolut=e paths within VirtualHost and <vortualHost> DocumentRoot is owned =by the user running apache
I find ISP sandBox and ISP host stor=e where I can enter info, but still it'll not manager requests for= the hostname. What is needed extra to have WebDNA handle the name configur=ed in apache VirtualHost? It can display the page (on IP it works) but when= I use the name it just refuses.
How does WebDNA host management rela=te to apache VirtualHosts? (or does it completely take over the configurati=on and should apache just dump all traffic at WebDNA and let that process a=ll traffic. (If so, how do I tell WebDNA where to redirect the traffic to h=ttp<hostname> that's stored in <VirtualHost DocumentRoot=2;)
