Javascript is a client side language, i.e. it works in the = clients browser, whereas WebDNA is a server side language, all the work = is done on the server and the page is then delivered to the = browser.

If = you are doing something in the browser with Javascript that gets you = some result, the result needs to be sent back to the server for WebDNA = to interpret the data and then render a new page with the = information.
