I've been using the windows 6.2 server version of webdna. Now that a fastcgi version is available in windows I'm dabbling with the new tags that have come on board since 6.2 I still use the [protect] tag on a few of my sites, since I'm the only none who needs admin access. I did create a cookie based login for a blogging site a while ago. Would I use [sessions] in a similar way to what I did with a cookie based login? Check the reserved.db database for a session id and if it exists I grant access to a page or pages?? How would I validate a user as being OK from page to page? Use showifs again checking the db like I did with cookies? Or do I pass the session ID from page to page somehow The docs just explained the tags. Thanks in advance!
