texte = Well, I'll be happy to break the ice here and welcome the folks fromStarNine. I'm still on beta15 of WebCat for Mac, using the plug-in.Everything is working quite well. There is one concern that I have thathas been an ongoing issue since day one, and that is that if a visitor, for whatever reason, returns to the home page via the back buttonafter they have been assigned a cart, they are then given a new one andany products in their shopping basket are effectively erased. Iunderstand that this is primarily due to the limitations of HTML, and Ihave done everything I can do (I think) to allow them to navigate thesite via links without having to return to the home page for anything,at least until they complete the order.I had assumed that this issue would be a concern in any online orderingsystem, but I checked out Peachpit Press's site last night, added a bookto my order, backed all the way out to the home page, went back in andadded another book, and my earlier selections were still there. Theywere not using WebCat; it appeared to be some kind of custom CGI, but inany case, wil there be any way in the future to enable a shopping cartto stick with a visitor, no matter what? Or am I missing somethingreally obvious that I could add to my site to enable this? -- Gil Poulsen, Webmaster*************************************************************** AltiM@c * Phone: (908) 469-2567 ** 126 Jerome Avenue * FAX: (908) 469-5823 ** South Bound Brook, NJ * e-mail: help@altimac.com ** 08880-1111 * WWW: http://www.altimac.com ***************************************************************
