Re: Which GUI HTML editors work with WC ?

This WebDNA talk-list message is from

1997

It keeps the original formatting.
numero = 12151
interpreted = N
texte = This statement made me wonder if I was having hallucinations when I checked GoLive. I went back and double checked. What I then found was that if I saved the file when in Source (HTML) mode, the WebDNA [founditems] remained in place in the TeaRoom's results.tmpl file. But if I saved it while in Layout mode, the [founditems] was messed up. If I edited in Layout mode then went back to source mode and saved, it was also messed up.I could edit the HTML in Source mode and the [founditems] was properly maintained. I could switch back and forth to preview, etc. and all seemed OK. From what I now see, their WYSIWYG skills are same as others in that once you add WebDNA, you can't go back to WYSIWYG layout. But you can use their Source, Preview, etc. features after WebDNA is added. This does save buying several applications and lots of cutting and pasting between applications. It probably isn't worth switching to if you have a system that works, but if you are just getting started, it saves buying BBEdit and a WYSIWYG editor. But then again, BBEdit and Visual Page together are still $100 cheaper than GoLive. Thanks for the help. :)Sandy Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
