texte = Greetings,I'm still evaluating WebCatalog. One of my sales people sent me this today for a web site we are bidding on. Is this something WebCatalog can do - in particular, updating products, assigning of a PIN number that the client can change on their own, and the Bonus Points system? Thanks for any feedback.Andy>The idea behind this site is that the client wants to sell a lot of >merchandise (posters, jackets, polo shirts, racing helmets, stuffed >animals, etc.) via a membership type of web site. it's kind of like a >Lands' End site (with shopping cart, credit card transactions, plus they >want remote updating of the database). They said they could potentially >have up to 70,000 members signed up for this type of site. They want all >of these order entry requests to be fed and tied into a database at the >warehouse here in St. Louis for processing and fulfilling of the orders.>>They also want the ability to assign each member a unique PIN number. Then >they want each member to be able to customize that PIN number themselves. >They want to award Bonus Points to each member based on the total amount >purchased and be able to track and feedback those Bonus Points (like >Frequent Flyer Miles) to each individual member at any time. __________________________________________________________________________ Andy Meng | Data Made Accessible | ameng@datamade.com | www.datamade.com Learn Anything | www.learning-web.com | Teach Anything
