Re: credit card authorization question

(I don't yet have MacAuthorize to read >its documentation)We turned off the automatic settlement in WebMerchant because we did not want to charge until we knew we had shipped. It makes the process somewhat more manual, we manually open a new batch (collection of charges) every now and then and settle the old batches manually once we know all items have been sent out. I _think_ the way you turn off automatic settlement is by setting the settlement time to zero or something like that.MacAuthorize stores the authorization codes in its databases. The biggest problem we have is that the customer name and itemized products don't get stored in MacAuthorize if the charge is submitted by WebMerchant. Makes it kind of a pain to look stuff up :-) -Sven_____________________________________________________________________ Sven U.
