numero = 14393
interpreted = N
texte = ftp://robin.smithmicro.com/Current/WebCatalogMac2_1b1.sit.binWe have found a bug in the low-level C++ memory routines that causes WebCatalog 2.0.1 (and earlier) to lose memory when it cannot open a database because of low RAM. The next hit to the site then causes the LModelDirector dialog, or sometimes even a bomb.If you've ever experienced an LModelDirector error dialog, or if your site crashes without warning (nor particular template is the culprit), then please download and try the latest WebCatalog/Mac beta. Some people have 'fixed' this problem by creating WebDNA that flushes the databases on their site every hour or so.This does not affect Windows installations.Grant Hulbert, V.P.
