Re: absolute paths for databases?

It keeps the original formatting.

interpreted = N
texte = >On NT, absolute paths start with the same folder as where DBServer.exe >resides. > >db=/test/sub/dbs/mydb.db is physically located at >/scripts/webcatalog/test/sub/dbs/mydb.dbThanks Grant. Now this makes sense to me. So I guess there is no way to have an absolute path on NT point to a db in the wwwroot folder? This is better because of db security, though I like to keep all of my files in one folder for better portability and managability. So here's another question: What's the best way to protect a db that is NOT in the scripts directory? Can WebCat NT be modified so that all url calls to a .db file get processed by webcat and then return nothing?Aloha, Olin..................................................................... .
