It's a good idea for sites with small numbers of matching items retrieved in a search. Here's how my solution works:Instead of going to the ShoppingCart page every time someone clicks the Add to Shopping Cart link, WebCat adds the clicked item to the ShoppingCart, then it returns you directly to the same page you came from ... so you can continue shopping with a minimum of hassle. In order to indicate which items are in your cart and which items are not, my interface changes the Add to Shopping Cart link on the items you've clicked to Remove From Shopping Cart ... so you can instantly see which items ARE, and which items are NOT, in the shopping cart WITHOUT having to go to the ShoppingCart page until the end of your shopping trip!My solution required substantial amount of time and effort to create, and it's far beyond anything I would try to explain on this list, but at least now you know it can be done ... :)Sincerely, Ken Grome WebDNA Solutions http://www.smithmicro.com/webdnasolutions/...
