texte = Hi All,Mine is a problem of understanding the unitshipcost and other special commerce fields. What I am trying to do is develop a shopping cart type solution for a local ISP to allow online signups. The products they sell are web accounts and email accounts etc. Only problem is they sell on a monthly rental basis. This means for each product in the database there is an initial once off setup cost and an ontoing monthly rental. I've figured out all the functions using quantity price and unitshipcost and assigned them as followsquantity = number of months advance rental price = the rental cost per month in $ unitshipcost = the once off setup fee Everything works fine except using the quantity as the calculator for the months also affects the calculation of the unitshipcost when I use the subtotal and grandtotal functions. Can anyone suggest how I can get the correct subtotal and grand total calculation.ie. 10 months rental = (10 X price + 1 X unitshipcost) not (10 X price + 10 X unitshipcost)Thanks, Tim Rignold_____________________________________________________WEBHOST.COM.AU - BRISBANE Telephone +61 7 3831 9111 80 Berry Street Facsimile + 61 7 3839 5442 Spring Hill Queensland email tim@webhost.com.au AUSTRALIA 4000 http://www.webhost.com.auTHE LOW COST WEB AND EMAIL HOSTING ALTERNATIVE Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
