The idea being that the rendered page in html will serve faster then the search page which has lots and lots of searches going on. A plain html page starts to display things immediately where the webcat search waits until it is complete before it displays anything and the page is not stored in browser cache and when you come back to it, it must totaly reload and do the searches all over again.Comments if anyone thinks this is true.Second, I guess the tag set to look at is [writefile] [/writefile]Third from the online docs...is written to the file. Notice that carriage returns inside the context are written to the file exactly as they appear. Also notice that any WebCatalog [xxx] tags inside the context are substituted for their real values before being written to the file. You may specify a full or partial URL to the file, as in /Some Folder/file.txt or LocalFolder/file.txt.Does this mean I can or cannot then create a hyperlink that I currently generate on the non-rendered page and embed webcat search tags in the rendered page?A few quick answers from somebody who has done this will prevent me from conducting a wild goose chase if it is not possible.=============================================== Gary Richter PanaVise Products, Inc. 7540 Colbert Dr. Reno, Nevada 89511 Ph: 702.850.2900 Fx: 702.850.2929 Email: grichter@panavise.com http://www.panavise.com =============================================== Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
