texte = Hi all,Now that Webcat 2.1 has gone final, I was wondering when we could expect tosee the next beta... :)We still have 2 outstanding issues with Webcat and one with Emailer thateither I or michaelw reported previously:1) Spurious error messages clogging up my Errorlog: Error: Can't openorder file. Ignoring [OrderFile] context. This is caused by using anorderfile context inside of a listfiles context. The functionality of thecode is correct, but this extra logging is starting to become quiteannoying (at several MB per day).2) [index] inside [lineitems] wrapped in a [loop] causes 4 characters after[index] to be eaten by webcat. So the code:[index][showif 1=1] becomes [index]wif 1=1]which can obviously cause some problems. Working around this is prettyeasy, but it should be fixed nonetheless.3) Emailer 2.0b4 does not retry sending mail, nor does it bounce the mailto the sender. Generally our web server becomes very busy (too manyorderfile commands in a script cause our g3 to CRAWL), causing mail totimeout. If Emailer had some kind of non-infinite retry method for sendingmail, it would make things run much more smoothly. Similarly, if a userenters an invalid to address, it would be extremely useful if that messagewas bounced back to the sender. I currently have to surf the EmailerLogevery day to look for failed and unsent messages. While none of these items are critical, they are problems that we werehoping would be fixed before Webcat 2.1 went final. I would appreciate anyinfo PCS can provide on timetables for resolving these problems. Thanks,Dale ________________________ ______________________________| Dale LaFountain | mailto:dalel@dhorse.com || MIS Director,WebMaster | web: http://www.dhorse.com/ || Dark Horse Comics, Inc.|Phone: 503-652-8815 x324 |\_________ID97___________|______________________________/
