texte = Hi. Seeking help regarding [WriteFile]; details follow:I'm creating entry pages for product categories. The idea (to renew a thread from several weeks ago) is to provide spider food about the products available at our online store. However, I am not sure I'm using [WriteFile] correctly, since I need to reload the entry page twice in order to view the results! Here are the steps taken so far:(1) created link from another page that searches the catalog.db for products from the desired category. For example: CATEGORY1 (2) created a template (ex: CATEGORY1.tmpl) for the product category. The template is very similar to the SearchResults.tmpl used in the General Store example, except for the use of [WriteFile]: Category1 Entry Page [writeFile file=CATEGORY1.tmpl&secure=F][Include file=/Globals/store_header.inc&cart=[cart]]

Welcome to the CATEGORY1 entry page.

[foundItems] [Title] [Synopsis] Tell me more... [/foundItems] [Include file=/Globals/StoreFooter.inc&cart=[cart]] [/writeFile] (3) then tried the link out, to discover that I have to reload in order to view the results properly. I assume this has to do with [WriteFile] being used improperly?Any advice...plus tips and tricks on creating spider food entry pages...would be greatly appreciated! I'd love to see examples of what others on the list are doing along these lines...TIA,Dale Stokdyk www.me2u.com Romantic Gifts from Around the World Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
