It gave me a clearer understanding of how the shownext feature works.I just modified the AdminResults.tmpl to use shownext for both hyperlinks and form buttons. I did notice that max=N did not seem to be automated in the case of form buttons, but it's correct for hyperlinks (easily fixed, but confusing). Here's what I did:1) Open AdminResults.tmpl, and paste the following in FRONT of the table: [shownext position=begin&max=1&method=POST]
[searchstring]
[/shownext]2) Paste the following AFTER the table: [shownext position=end&max=1&method=POST]
[searchstring]
[/shownext]3) Enter the GeneralStore admin page and click List All Products 4) Notice no shownexts appear, because no max=N is provided 5) Modify URL in browser to add &max=5 to URLIf you want to do the same thing, but with hyperlinks instead, change the ShowNext to the following:[shownext position=begin&max=1]Show [start] - [end]
[/shownext]and[shownext position=end&max=1]Show [start] - [end]
[/shownext]In both cases you can see the purpose of [SearchString] is to fill in all the search variables for you, and it automatically calculates start and end values for its own section of the search. When you specify method=POST inside [ShowNext], then [SearchString] generates style variables, and if you specify method=GET, then it generates name1=value1&name2=value2 style variables.Grant Hulbert, V.P.
