texte = I would resist the urge to frame the pages because your pages load soquickly. I would nest the whole thing in a table of fixed width, a singlerow and two cells. Inside the left cell, which is the same width as thecolor band, nest a table for the navigation. Then text will be centered andsimply wrap if it's too wide.Look at www.purezone.com. The header is in a separate frame but the body isset up this way. It will stay the same width and positioning in anybrowser, and on any platform.By the way, be sure to announce your site to www.macintouch.com. I'm surehe'd add it as a news item.-Pat-----Original Message-----From: Kenneth Grome [mailto:ken@webdna.net]Sent: Thursday, July 09, 1998 3:22 PMTo: WebDNA-Talk@smithmicro.comSubject: Re: MacFinder -- a new WebDNA web site>>I'm planning to launch the MacFinder web site next week:>>http://macfinder.com>>Nice site, Ken! That means each visitor's browser canoverride the font size settings in my templates, and then the text on theleft spills over to the white area. I'm not sure how to deal with this in away that makes it look *right* for everyone ...Sincerely,Ken Grome808-737-6499WebDNA Solutionsmailto:ken@webdna.nethttp://www.webdna.net
