protect tag not working

texte = Small problem with the protect tag in WebCat 2.1.5:I've verified that users.db is in the WebCatalog folder & I've put that folder inside the www root folder under WebStar 3.0. The users.db file headers are correct and there is no extra line.WebCatalog shows that it has loaded users.db & the field names are correct.When I access any page with [protect admin], the page is displayed without prompting for a user/pass.I flushed the cache, the databases, and even re-booted the machine.Does anyone have a clue?Pat McCormick Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
