texte = >How can I get the E-MAIL field contents to be picked up from the database >and become the e-mail address that mail is sent to??We finally hashed this out, and in case anyone is curious, the all-important missing part of his question was this:I want to send one email per *lineitem*, and the address of who to send it to is a field called [E-MAIL] in my *product database*This is a cool idea, but since it was somewhat unusual, none of the helpful people on this list could figure out why it was so difficult. Here's the answer, based on ThankYou.tpl from GeneralStore:[LineItems] [include file=Fulfillment.txt&v.email=[E-MAIL]] [/LineItems]Notice the [E-MAIL] field comes from the product database, and is automatically looked up based on the sku of the lineitem. In this case, each item in the product database belongs to a different vendor, and this is how they are notified that someone wants to buy their stuff.Technical Support | ==== eCommerce and Beyond ==== Pacific Coast Software | WebCatalog, WebMerchant, 11770 Bernardo Plaza Court | SiteEdit Pro, PhotoMaster, San Diego, CA 92128 | Typhoon 619/675-1106 Fax: 619/675-0372 | http://www.smithmicro.com/ Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
