texte = I am evaluation Web Catalog and want to setup a store that list over 1100 categories (these are the different manufactures products we carry). The software appears to display 50 categories when entering the store. I could change it to display all 1100 categories on this page, but that is a bit to much. What I would like to do is to have the catalog display a list of all the characters in the alphabet, i.e.: A B C D E F G H I J...... and request that the user select the corresponding letter for the manufacturer they as looking for and then display a list of all manufactures that start with that letter. So if someone clicked on the letter M, they would get a list of all manufactures that started with M, i.e.: Microsoft, MicroSolutions, Microtest, Micolia, MYOB, etc... Currently, I am listing the manufactures names in the Category field in my database file.Does any one know if this can be done???Thanks, Mark B. berk@voicenet.com Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
